Worker Terms of Service

Effective Date: Upon acceptance by use of the Services

These Worker Terms of Service ("Agreement", "Terms") govern your access to and use of the AutoDistress platform ("AutoDistress", "we", "us", "our"), including the website and any mobile applications, as a service provider or auto professional ("Worker", "you", "your"). By registering or providing services through AutoDistress, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

"Platform" means the AutoDistress website, mobile application, and related services.

"Worker Services" means auto repair, diagnostics, towing, roadside assistance, and related services.

"Customer" means any individual or entity requesting services through the Platform.

2. Eligibility & Registration

2.1 You must be at least eighteen (18) years old and legally permitted to work in your jurisdiction.

2.2 You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, including licenses and certifications.

2.3 AutoDistress reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, or terminate Worker accounts at its discretion.

3. Independent Contractor Status

3.1 You acknowledge that you are an independent contractor and not an employee, partner, or agent of AutoDistress.

3.2 You are solely responsible for taxes, insurance, tools, equipment, and operating expenses.

4. Worker Obligations

4.1 Services must be performed professionally, safely, and in compliance with all applicable laws.

4.2 You must clearly disclose pricing before beginning any work.

4.3 You agree not to engage in fraudulent, abusive, or unsafe behavior.

5. Service Requests & Acceptance

5.1 AutoDistress may notify you of service requests based on availability and location.

5.2 Acceptance of a request constitutes an agreement to perform the requested services.

6. Payments & Fees

6.1 Customers pay for Worker Services as agreed.

6.2 AutoDistress may charge a commission or platform fee, disclosed separately.

6.3 AutoDistress does not guarantee payment for disputed or incomplete services.

7. Ratings & Reviews

7.1 Customers may provide ratings and reviews.

7.2 Repeated low ratings may result in reduced visibility or account termination.

8. Insurance & Liability

8.1 You are responsible for maintaining adequate insurance coverage.

8.2 AutoDistress is not liable for damages resulting from Worker Services.

9. Confidentiality & Data Protection

9.1 You must keep confidential any non-public information obtained through the Platform.

9.2 You may not misuse Customer data.

10. Intellectual Property

10.1 All Platform content remains the property of AutoDistress.

10.2 You may not copy, modify, or distribute Platform materials without permission.

11. Termination & Suspension

11.1 AutoDistress may suspend or terminate access for violations, safety concerns, or legal reasons.

11.2 You may terminate this Agreement by discontinuing use of the Platform.

12. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

12.1 AutoDistress provides the Platform "as is" without warranties.

12.2 Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AutoDistress from claims arising out of your services or conduct.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be resolved through arbitration unless otherwise required by law.

15. Changes to Terms

AutoDistress may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
